Tesori – The Loop, Chicago

Last  night I had the pleasure of being invited, along with a very select few other Chicago Food Bloggers, to sample the special summer menu by Executive Chef, Andrew Deuel at the Italian-inspired Tesori restaurant in Chicago’s Loop neighborhood.  Since there were a limited number of invites available, I attended this dinner solo.  No worries, though.  Despite not knowing with whom I would be dining, I was excited to be in the company of my fellow members of the Chicago Food Blogger network.  As it turned out, I already knew 2 of the other guests and I had the pleasure of  meeting another fun blogger for the first time.

Tesori in Chicago

Tesori is only 8 walking blocks from my apartment.  However, it was a rainy evening, so I took the CTA Green Line to the Adams/Wabash ‘L’ stop which is directly adjacent to this restaurant..  How convenient!  Another great bonus of dining at here is that it is next door to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and mere steps from The Art Institute of Chicago, Millenium Park, Grant Park and much more.  Fun fact:  Tesori sits at the very start of the historic Route 66!

The space here is elegant, comfortable and beautifully adorned.  The staff is friendly and accomodating.  We all had a lovely time!  By the way, “tesori” means “little treasures” in Italian.  And, I highly recommend that you visit this little treasure whenever your Italian food craving hits and you are in the Chicago Loop vicinity 🙂
