Oiistar – Wicker Park, Chicago

Happy Wednesday!  I am here today with my rainy day ramen report.  What a deluge of water that blew through town today!  I could not think of a better way to warm up and dry off than to head to Oiistar in Chicago’s Wicker Park for a steaming bowl of ramen 🙂  

Cold Storage – West Loop, Chicago

The West Loop in Chicago just welcomed Cold Storage, a new seafood bar, located inside its big sister steakhouse, Swift & Sons.  It opened for business a couple of weeks ago and I have been super excited to check it out.  So, I decided to head over there today for a lovely lunch.

The Kitchen – River North, Chicago

  The Chicago Riverwalk continues to grow with attractions and restaurants.  The Kitchen, a community bistro which is giving back to local schools (more on that later), is one of the latest additions to the dining scene along the Chicago River.  I stopped in  last Friday with my friend, Cindi, for the most delightful lunch.     First things first.
